Growing up in Tuscany, Paola was surrounded by the food and wine culture of her region. As a journalist, she managed to combine her passion with professional writing, contributing to Gambero Rosso and its Gastronomic Guides. In 2016 she founded the first Florence Cocktail Week, successfully steering the festival into its eighth year in 2023 and establishing it as the most important cocktail week in Italy. In addition to this, Tuscany Cocktail Week was started in 2019. A few years later, the format arrived in Venice with Venice Cocktail Week, which just completed its second edition in September 2022. The new event, Cortina Cocktail Weekend, will be launched in December 2022.
