Italian Craft Project


The project American Oak is created by the union of Dream Whisky and Jerry Thomas Project: two realities that made the excellence and the research their pillars.
The whole point of bringing together a selector and a bottler of fine spirits with one of the founding fathers of the American bar in Italy is to bring to light the American Whiskey, starting from its origins.
American Oak’s main goal is to describe and present American single cask Whiskey, starting from its colonial-era origins. Pre-Prohibition recipes, experimental distillation techniques and selected local grown raw materials will create with time a journey exploring the American Whiskey like no one has ever seen it.

BREWER MALT - SINGLE CASK AMERICAN WHISKEY
A bold and remarkable Whisky.     
The nose immediately perceive the aroma of red fruits like sour and under spirits cherries, but also winey notes that remind you of the eggnog and an old barrel, still damp with passito wine.
Delicate, powdery hints precede the perfume of cocoa and caramel.
A delight in your mouth, candy orange and moscovado sugar leave space to the chocolate and the chestnut honey, with a rich and spicy final of nutmeg and cinnamon. 

MARYLAND RYE - SINGLE CASK AMERICAN WHISKEY
A fine old fashioned Whisky.
The nose immediately perceive the intense aroma of incense and violet, but by letting it develop for a while in the glass, you will smell fresher notes of rosewater, mint tea, and oriental scents, that combined together will remind you of a whipped cream and strawberry Big Bubble.
The first sip is a true sensorial experience that immediately lead you to toasted notes of tobacco, rhubarb and licorice root, reminding you of the violet “Leone” candy.

DORAGROSSA

Our liqueurs are crafted from traditional old recipes, rediscovered and reworked in a quest to find the most captivating aromas and flavours. Our work is further enhanced by the use of the finest herbs and spices, carefully selected and worked according to painstaking craft processes.
Mint, rhubarb, juniper, chamomile... spices, herbs and fruit have always poured into Turin from the surrounding countryside, along with wine, brought in to the city from the prestigious vineyards of Langhe and Monferrato located nearby.
AMARO DI TORINO DORAGROSSA
This delicate alpine-style Amaro is invigorating and digestive. It expresses the powerful character of rhubarb and gentian, the balsamic notes of juniper enriched by many other herbs as the tansy, the liquorice and the vanilla.
ROSOLIO DI TORINO DORAGROSSA
The Doragrossa Rosolio presents exotic notes of cinnamon and cloves along with the freshness of anise and lemon peel.
ELIXIR RABARBARO & MENTA DORAGROSSA
This delicately bitter liqueur, like the candies from our grandparents’ day, comes from the blend of the delightfully bitter taste of rhubarb with the pure freshness of mint.
LIQUORE ALLA MENTA DI PANCALIERI DORAGROSSA
This is a fresh and refreshing liqueur based on the purest Pancalieri mint, recognised for its unique organoleptic qualities.
