Facundo Gallegos

Director of Bars & Restaurant at The St. Regis Venice

Facundo Gallegos has more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in which 10 years within five star luxury hotels in Italy and the UK. Most recently, Facundo held the position of Assistant Bar Manager at the Coburg Bar at the Connaught Hotel in London prior to coming to Venice for the opening of The St. Regis Venice.

In 2011, Facundo ventured to the UK to broaden his bartending experience, previously made up from bartending at hotels such as the Cipriani in Venice, and started his international hotelier experience at The Dorchester Hotel in London as a bartender. Shortly after, Facundo moved up through the ranks becoming Head Bartender at The Dorchester in 2015 and got the opportunity to lead the coveted and world-renowned Connaught Bar at The Connaught Hotel in London as Bar Supervisor thereafter.

With a classic yet multi-faceted approach to bartending and mixology, Facundo returns to Italy and in particular, to his home region, to cultivate the vanguard bringing the classic elements of mixology and bartending whilst at the same time creating innovation around it.
