Leonardo Di Vincenzo

Leonardo Di Vincenzo, born in Rome in 1976. Got a degree in Biology and while he was getting a phd in biochemistry he started to get closer to fermentations fascinated by the world of belgian and english craft beers. In 2005 he gave up his role of researcher and bumps into his new life  as an entrepreneur. He fund Birra del Borgo which in the next 10 years will set the course for a new identity of Italian craft beers. In the meanwhile he launches himself into new gastronomic adventures in Rome (Bir&fud 2007, Open Baladin 2009, Osteria Birra del Borgo 2017) and New York ( Birreria Eataly 2011) reaching out to Australia where he opened a second brewery "Nomad" (2014). In the last few years he explored new frontiers in fermentations and looks out to the world of natural wine in Puglia starting to produce it in "Masseria La Cattiva" and opening a new roman bar "Latta - Fermenti e miscele" in which he set a new laboratory to explore new worlds.
