Panagiotis Kanavetas
Panos is in the bar industry since 2004. Started with a group of “greeks” to look into the more interesting spirit and cocktails behind the bar, something that made them travel to London in 2008, to fulfil IPbartenders school, of Ben Reed. In 2008 he became the first Bacardi Brand Ambassador for the greek market. Has won many cocktail competitions (2012 Winner Of Mastiha Skinos Greece, 2012 Winner of Beefeater Greece, 2012 Beefeater Global competition 3rd place).
In 2012 he became Brand Ambassador for MONIN, under Sky Spirits Company. Until September 2022 he was the Marketing Manager for Sky Spirits Company, a boutique import company with
a premium brand portfolio, such as Flor de Cana Rum, Don Papa, Nikka Whiskey, Tito’s and Monin, and now he holds the position of Flor De Cana Brand Ambassador for Greece and Cyprus.
At the same time in 2015 he has opened Old Dog in N.Filadelfia, Athens and in 2019 OMMA in Tinos Island. Old dog has accomplished to be one of the 10 best bars in Athens with a great spirit and cocktail list, and since 2021 is the first greek bar that has its own YouTube channel, sharing cocktails and drink stories.
