Ever since trying The Lost Explorer Mezcal over a year ago, Peter Sanchez brought his award-winning expertise and inventiveness in mixology to the next level to explore all the dynamics of flavor in each of our three varietals
Peter was nominated as the Best Bartender in Mexico by the Bartender Awards in 2019. He is also the Co- Founder of We Are Bartenders, a bartender collective that seeks to promote the cocktail industry based in Mexico.
Having spent the last 9 years as a bartender, Peter spent most of his career in the Riviera Maya as well as working at some of Mexico City’s best bars like Limantour and Fifty Mils.
From 2018-2022, Peter held the role of Beverage Director of ARCA Tulum, one of the most iconic bars in Tulum, which most recently was recognized as one of 50 Best Discovery Bars due to Peter’s beverage program as well as ranked 37 in the list of 50 Best Bars in North America.
