Simone Caporale
One of the most talked-about bartenders of the moment, Simone Caporale is internationally renowned for his distinctive personal style, service and innovation, which includes an impeccable attention to detail, playful presentation and exceptional approach to hospitality.
Simone rose to fame during his five years at Artesian at The Langham, London, where he is credited for reinventing the five-star hotel bar experience and leading the venue to win the title of World’s Best Bar four years in a row (2012 to 2015). Simone worked with his peer and mentor Alex Kratena to lead Artesian to new heights of international fame with a unique, playful approach to the highest-quality cocktails. Using techniques which were at the forefront of technological innovations, Simone pushed the boundaries of what a cocktail can and should do to create some of the most iconic cocktail serves.
In 2014, Simone worked with chef Jamie Oliver to launch DrinksTube. Already a celebrity within the bartending community, Simone became the face of bartending for thousands of consumers who watched the videos daily. Simone’s profile often also sees him commentating for a wide variety of trade and lifestyle publications in the UK and internationally.
Simone has worked extensively with a wide range of leading luxury brands including Peroni, Martini and Disaronno, delivering masterclasses, menus, seminars and training around the globe. Recent projects include the launch of P(OUR) Symposium, a not-for-profit organisation with a focus on educating up-and-coming peers within the drinks industry; the creation of Muyu, a range of modern liqueurs with Alex Kratena and Monica Berg; as well as the upcoming launch of Sips in Barcelona, a new venue in collaboration with Marc Alvarez.
Having been awarded numerous accolades of his own Simone now travels the world working with high-profile projects and partners to bring his knowledge, expertise and understanding to elevate the cocktail drinking experience.
In 2021, he joined forces with Luca Missaglia to launch Cocktail Concierge, a spirits brand-building agency that partnership with Amaro Santoni for the grow and expansion.
