Forge your own Path by ICE UP. On Creativity and other Demons

ICE UP has managed to be where it is today, despite any difficulties and against all odds that 3 bartenders would succeed in creating a new market with an innovative product, establishing their own production facilities, operating country-wide distribution and exporting. We achieved all of these in under five years, because in ICE UP we believe in unbending passion. We believe that you don’t have to follow an existing path, but with hard work and persistence you may forge your own, despite beginning bellow zero, as ICE UP does.  

However, on our path we have never been alone. We have always had the support of our great community, the Greek bartenders. Giving back just a little of that support, we want to give the stage to people from our industry who have forged their own paths and have managed to excel, despite facing any challenges. Therefore, we have with us Sakis Papagiannis, bartender and owner of Bitter Sweet Bar in Trikala and Paschalis Peristerakis, bartender and owner of the northernmost cocktail bar in Greece, Parrots Beak in Didymoteicho, to share with us the way they turn difficulties into opportunities.
