Matteo Melara has worked behind bars since 2002, building his expertise through passion and hard work in Genoa, Menorca and Milan. As a Leading personality in flair, he was invited to become instructor at the flair academy in Milan one of world's most prestigious bar schools, where he was inspired to share his knowledge with others . He further developed his career at the European bartender school with strong presence in cocktail competitions, and was named the best instructor in the world in 2015. Rum has always been a passion for Matteo, and he proudly joined Double Cask Aged Rum Brugal 1888, as their Italian Brand Ambassador in 2019, sharing the best of Brugal with the Italian market.
