Zoltán Nagy
Zoltán Nagy didn’t simply open a bar in Budapest — he exported a way of thinking to the world. As co-founder of Boutiq’Bar and one of the most sought-after educators in the international bartending community, he has spent the past two decades teaching, challenging and inspiring the world of mixology — from St. Petersburg to Mexico City, Madrid to Yerevan. In 2018 alone, he flew a distance equivalent to the circumference of the Earth, sharing his knowledge with thousands of bartenders from Siberia to South America. He was the first to introduce pálinka as a Hungarikum on the international bar stage in Berlin in 2009. He founded LAB – London Academy of Bartenders (2005), co-founded Boutiq’Bar (2008) and opened Pink Pony Club (2020). He has served as a judge for The World’s 50 Best Bars (2013–2024), as a committee member for Tales of the Cocktail (2014–2022), co-authored two professional cocktail books, and appeared as a guest speaker at major international events including Madrid Fusión and Tales of the Cocktail.
