Darko Angeleski is the Managing Partner and Head Instructor of Bar Academy Bulgaria, and one of the leading voices in modern bartending in the region. He started in pastry arts, entered bartending in 2001 at the International Cocktail School in Skopje, and was already teaching as an instructor by 2003. In 2005 he co-founded the Macedonian Bartenders Association and led it as President until 2020. He also built Bar and Barista Academies and opened The Cocktail Room and The Speakeasy Bar in Skopje, consulted on the opening of the Marriott Hotel Skopje, and ran trainings for Campari and Johnnie Walker. In 2017 he launched 5L Speakeasy Bar in Sofia and became co-owner of Bar Academy Bulgaria, and today he works to build a connected, educated bar community where knowledge is shared and bartenders act as cultural ambassadors.
