Kelly (she/they) began their hospitality career in a family-run pub and has spent the past 15 years working across an ever-changing bar industry, with support and education at the heart of her approach. As Head of Training for Cocktail Trading Co and its sister bars, she brought together scientific, traditional and technical bar skills with personal development, keeping emotional and physical wellbeing central to learning. Their work helps bartenders overcome challenges, build confidence and develop sustainable careers. With burnout a growing concern, Kelly champions training that recognises different needs and supports people beyond their next shift. Now moving into bar ownership, she is bringing that same care to building a space where hospitality workers, creatives, neurodivergent and LGBTQI+ people within the wider community can feel safe, supported and welcome: a third space where people can connect, learn and belong.
